When this step has been repeated all down the ladder you should switch legs so they jump out-and-in from box to box instead of trying for height – you want quickness not height.

Hopscotch drill can also be modified by adding in lateral movement, with emphasis on side-to-side footwork with precise foot placement. In this ladder drill, move one leg at a time into each box on the right side before switching over and using both legs on each box on the left side – continuing this way down until reaching your final destination – then repeat!

For an advanced variation of this drill, try crossing your legs over as you make your way through the ladder. Step with one foot into the first square of the ladder with your left foot before moving your right foot across and into square two with its right foot stepping alternatingly as before until reaching the end of your ladder when simply reverse this pattern to return back through.

The Icky Shuffle ladder drill is a fantastic way to sharpen lateral footwork agility and speed. Start by stepping your left foot outside of the ladder on to its outer left edge before quickly returning it inside of it; repeat this pattern while also moving your right foot inside and outside quickly, until alternating feet have completed their cycle and returned outside again. This drill provides excellent lateral movement training in badminton games while testing how fast you can complete each pattern while maintaining correct form.

Add an element of shuttle running to this drill for added difficulty and maximize agility and speed! When running forward hopping ladder boxes with arms bouncing bouncy tennis-like motion. Try keeping a high center of gravity as you land each box; keep moving arms in a tennis-style fashion when landing them to maximize agility and speed.
